I woke up today kind of dazed, not knowing what day it was. The electricity went off, so the clocks were all messed up, but when the alarm turned on KEARTH and I was thinking, "What Scripture should I open up to?" A few things fit together yesterday to give me this idea to write about. As I entered the church last night, they were singing a song that said, "You have captured my heart, yes, you have." Day 62

Romans 12 opened my eyes this morning to the practical purpose for living each and every day. After last nights football game at Schurr, I was shaking hands with the head coach & congratulating him on the victory. As he put his arm around me, he took me aside and said he needed to talk to me. Last night I went to the premiere of the movie, not at midnight, and not New Moon. This was a story taken from real life - The Blind Side. Four score and seven years ago... tomorrow will be the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address given by Abraham Lincoln during the time of Civil War. I'm reminded of Hebrews 11 where the great people of faith are remembered for their great acts that were passed on to future generations.
